Learn More ↗☰FINIAT is a quantitative investment management firm that develops technology around the needs of financial advisors. Our investment strategies and advisor capabilities form one connected ecosystem, supporting portfolio design, ongoing management, and client communication.
We believe investment management and advisor technology should work together around the people they serve. A disciplined portfolio matters. So does an advisor’s ability to understand its decisions, explain them clearly, and connect them to a client’s life.
Our mission is to strengthen the advisor-client relationship and create more capacity for advisors to grow their practice. By connecting investment management and advisor technology, we aim to help advisors spend less time managing fragmented workflows and more time serving clients, building relationships, and expanding their business.

Contact our team ↗Intelligent Allocation® is a set of algorithms, not AI. An advisor defines an ETF universe and minimum and maximum exposure for each ETF. The algorithms then govern ongoing allocations within those parameters. Use a FINIAT strategy, modify one with FINIAT, or define an advisor-built ETF portfolio.
Explore the investment approach ↗FINIAT primarily manages ETF portfolios. Intelligent Allocation® powers systematic portfolio management, and Amplifi brings security-level and broader portfolio insights into client conversations. Intelligent Indexing is an optional ETF-to-SMA offering for clients with additional customization needs. The advisor connects the relevant capabilities to the client’s plan.
See the connected process ↗The strategy combines underlying AllianzIM buffered ETF exposures with FINIAT’s allocation framework. A fund’s buffer and cap depend on its outcome period and other conditions; they do not establish a fixed portfolio-level loss limit.
FINIAT is available through Advyzon and Schwab Model Marketplace, with direct trading through Schwab. An Envestnet connection is in progress, and direct-trading connections with Fidelity, Interactive Brokers, and Pershing are planned but not yet available. View availability & partnerships ↗No. Investing involves risk, including loss of principal. Systematic allocation, diversification, and buffered ETF features do not guarantee an outcome. Review each strategy’s objectives, risks, costs, and applicable disclosures.
Review the strategy profiles ↗No. The algorithms react to market indicators within the selected ETF universe and exposure limits. The philosophy is long-biased: seek market participation, with flexibility to shift toward more conservative holdings as signals change. Downside management is an objective, not a guarantee; defensive positioning can miss upside or a recovery.
Explore our investment philosophy ↗Yes. Advisors can define their own ETF universe and minimum and maximum exposure for each ETF, or work with FINIAT to modify a pre-built strategy. Intelligent Allocation® governs allocations within those parameters. This ETF portfolio customization is separate from Intelligent Indexing’s optional conversion to a customized SMA.
Explore the allocation process ↗No. FINIAT primarily uses ETF portfolios. Intelligent Indexing is an additional, optional offering for clients who need a customized SMA, including HNW and UHNW clients with complex tax considerations, ESG or faith-based preferences, or concentrated employer equity.
An ETF or a portfolio of ETFs. FINIAT’s technology converts that starting investment framework into a customizable separately managed account, with personalization informed by tax considerations, values-based preferences, and existing concentrated holdings.
Amplifi provides AI-driven insights at both the individual security and broader portfolio levels. It helps explain holding movements and performance, higher-level trends, timing, rationale, implications, and the manager’s stated plan in language clients can understand, with advisor review before sharing.
